Web Developer in Connecticut

Searching for web developers in Connecticut usually starts with a problem: a site that is outdated, buggy, half finished, or hacked. That is the work I take on, new builds included, for businesses anywhere in the USA. One person handles it start to finish, no outsourcing, no hand-offs.

Development work I take on

  • New builds on WordPress with custom design and functionality
  • Shopify stores, taking over a shop you already have or setting one up from scratch
  • Full rebuilds of outdated or cluttered sites
  • Taking over buggy, unfinished, or hacked sites and getting them stable
  • Speed and performance fixes
  • Ongoing updates and maintenance so you never think about it

Stuck with a site another developer left behind?

This happens more than you would think. Amos Plumbing came to me mid-rebrand with a site that was buggy, unfinished, and had security issues. I moved them off the broken build, locked things down, and launched something secure and professional that matched their new name. Here is the full story. If your site is in rough shape, you do not have to start over from zero, but you do need someone willing to dig in.

Do you need a developer or a designer?

Honestly, for most small businesses the answer is both, and that is the point of having one person do the design, the development, and the SEO. You describe the outcome you want, and every layer that gets you there is handled in one place.

Questions I get a lot

What platform do you build on?

Mostly WordPress, with custom design and code where it counts. It is easy for you to use, easy to extend, and does not lock you into a proprietary builder. I also build on Shopify: if you already have a shop I can take it over, and if you need one I can set it up from scratch.

Can you take over my existing site?

Yes. I regularly inherit sites from other developers, even half finished or hacked ones. I will audit what is there and tell you honestly what is worth keeping.

Do you build online stores?

Yes. For stores I usually work on Shopify, taking over an existing shop or building one from scratch, and I also build on WordPress with WooCommerce when that fits better. Tell me what you sell and how, and I will recommend the simplest setup that does the job.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes, most clients keep me on after launch for updates, fixes, and changes. You text or email me directly and it gets handled.
